Rhytidectomy

Let’s work together to get your body back.

Rhytidectomy, or “face lift,” is a cosmetic surgery to create a younger appearance to the face. A facelift tightens the sagging skin of the face and neck. This surgery improves midface and neck aging (nasolabial folds, jowls, cheeks, and neck). The deeper tissues under the skin are tightened, as well, to give a more stable long-lasting result. Incisions are made on both the front and back of the ear and into your hairline. Drains are placed on either side of the face, which are typically removed on the first day after surgery. Expect to sleep with your head elevated for a few weeks to minimize the amount of swelling. You will be given a special compression garment to use after surgery that will help support your neck and cheeks.
