Thighplasty

Let’s work together to reshape those inner thighs.

Thighplasty, or “thigh-lift,” is the removal of excess skin and fat from the inner thighs. This procedure tightens unwanted skin on the upper leg to contour the thigh. This excess tissue could be a result of weight loss, pregnancy, or the natural aging process. The scar that results from this surgery is the tradeoff for the improved contour of your thigh. The length of the scar will depend on the severity of the laxity. If a medial thigh lift is chosen, the incision is placed in the groin area, but in many cases, the scar needs to be extended down toward the knee to optimize the contour. A special compression garment is worn after the surgery for approximately 4 weeks. You will want to avoid strenuous activity or exercises for 4 weeks.
